Dear Sirs & Madam
It saddens me to hear that rather than continue to strive and develop a sustainable and responsible future, Phuket is taking a step backwards by allowing a dolphin park (prison) to open on the island.
It is illegal to capture a wild dolphin in Thailand's waters. Why then is it legal to import dolphins from other countries for entertainment facilities?
The beautiful island of Phuket draws holiday visitors from all four corners of the world, they come for the beauty that is Thailand, a country rich in natural biodiversity and not to experience wild dolphins subjected to unacceptable confinement detrimental to their physical and mental well being This benefits few people, harms your tourist industry and public perception of your country, please stop the dolphin park.
Yours sincerely, [Your Name]
